Mvomero focusses on children with hearing issues. But when the school was set up there was a clear vision that these children should not just be learning their schoolwork in order to pass exams. They were also to participate in vocational activities through the agricultural project.
They would be encouraged to use the skills leant in the classroom, outside in the field. Mathematics, Science, Environmental studies and art are all subjects that can be brought to life outside the classroom.
